After a day of rest Day 3 Lunch in Stockbridge. Quaint city in the foothills of the Berkshires. Town where Arlo Guthrie''s Alice's Restaurant was. Highlight of the day was the Norman Rockwell museum. Over three hundred covers of the Saturday Evening Post. Many of his original paintings and the stories behind them.

Day 1 we rested. Got cleaned up and went grocery shopping.
Day 2 Excursion to Plymouth to check out the Rock and a plantation reconstruction of a 1620 village. Many docents to explain and show us how life was back then. After the village we boarded the Mayflower II. Hard to believe that 102 people lived onboard for almost six months. 66 days at sea and the rest while they built their homes.
Day 3 we visited the Bedford Whaling Museum. Learned about whales and whaling. They have a half scale whaling ship in the museum. Caught it on a day that there was a group singing sea chanties.
